Recently, we watched the movie "American Factory" on #netflix. It was a very successful production.

- The most remarkable aspect of the movie is that you witness how the Chinese economy has grown so much. Through the factory opened in America by a Chinese-origin car glass manufacturer; You can identify the working discipline of the Chinese employees and the authoritarian attitude of the brand.

- American employees, on the other hand, are dragged into chaos with a style that acts in a much more micro-minded way, thinks about daily living standards, and is accustomed to slow work pace.

- He stated that he supported the unionization of company employees during the times that Trump portrayed China as an "enemy".

- You see the owners of the company making threats if there is a union, I will close the company.

- We highly recommend this documentary-like film, which is a great example of "Lean Management".

What’s the point?

American Factory highlights how Chinese business in the U.S. hurts American workers, but it doesn't stop at the problem: its eyes are ultimately on us all to create the future of labor.
